Detailing and Working Drawings - Task Three

As for this particular task, we were asked to observe three different kinds of furniture from IKEA and to sketch it in our journal. These three pieces of furniture must be of different kind of material. I took pictures of a cabinet, a chair and a table while taking some measurements of the furniture. At least two specifications must be provided for each piece of furniture. My understanding towards material and appropriate measurements of each furniture has improved after completing this task.

Three different furnitures were given to us to sketch. We have to sketch the furnitures with an extra sketch respectively (plan, section, detail or 3D). Since we were taught "detail drawings specification" last week, we have to include such specifications into the furniture. Specifications include, sizes and heights (L X W X H), material, methods of joinery, installation, fastening and support systems and lastly, finishes. All these made me learn more on describing the measurements and information of each furniture.
